penguin paddled back to the beach with her mother
and they rested in the warm sand. As a gentle breeze
dried their feathers, Princess shook her head.
“Oh, rotten fish,” she muttered.
Her mother patted her back reassuringly.
“You only need practice, my little one. Soon
you will be foraging for fish without my help. That
day will come soon,” she said.
Princess rested her fuzzy head on her mother
while she gazed out at the sparkling ocean before
them. Making a vow to herself, she decided tomorrow
would be the day.
